Held at Canterbury Agricultural Park in Christchurch, the Canterbury A&P Show is the largest Agricultural and Pastoral Show in the country, attracting on average 110,000 people, over 7000 livestock and feature competition entries and over 600 trade exhibitors.

Showing enthusiasts will be competing against the best of the best in over 1400 livestock and equestrian classes including sections for horse & pony, beef & dairy cattle, sheep, alpaca, llama, pig, goat, shearing & woolhandling, dog trials, poultry, wool, woodchopping and vintage machinery.

Canterbury will be continuing its exhibitor subsidies, offered to exhibitors who have to travel great distances to attend the Show. North Island and Southland exhibitors are eligible for discounted entry fees, complimentary camping, fuel vouchers and discount offers on Interislander ferry travel.
